Having some issues with the above, running the sap plug-in (version 1) on MMC to start local java instances, go into sapmmc, right click to start the engines and it connects but only starts the higher of the two instance's.
Come out of everything, open up McAfee and uncheck the "enable firewall" check box - redo the steps and this time (as expected) a pop-up occurs after right clicking to start the java engines, user can then log on to the instance and all is fine.
So - something to do with McAfee's firewall policy obviously, but what exactly!? Have tried adding exceptions to the firewall policy for mmc, sapmmc.msc, sapmmc.dll and many more, none of which worked.
Has anyone encountered this issue with McAfee before when using the sapmmc?
