lock table overflow

Hi All,

We are facing lock table pverflow issue in R/3  4.7 system .

When ever the lock table overflows all the jobs are getting descheduled .

Can any one pls tell the reason for jobs getting descheduled ,and this is happenning only in  4.7 system .

When lock table overflow happens in ECC 6.0 the jobs are not getting descheduled .

Pls let us know is there any way to prevent this other than increasing lock table size
