Query is not executed in a browser from Bex Query Designer, ABAP Web, Java Web - Please help me on this

In a Personal Computer, When I am trying to execute a query in Bex Query Designer, the query is not getting executed in a browser. Also I check my query in RSRT, in this the query is executing, But it is not executing in ABAP Web, Java Web or in any browser.

 

I think there is no proper settings in place...

 

1. Also I dont know how to configure the RFC destinations in Source R/3 and in BW system.

 

Also please help in finding the J2EE hostname, BI_SID, Portal_SID,J2EE_S,Hostname, Portal URL prefix, portal content. Because I dont have SAP Basis team support.

 

2. When I went to RSPOR_Setup in SA38, I see pre-populated values which is mentioned below in Bold for respective fields. It would be great if someone of you can guide me in populating the fields with correct entires.

 

General Data

  • Check Configuration option is selected by default.

Checking an Existing Configuration

  • RFC Destination  - <BI_SID>_<J2EE_HOSTNAME>_<J2EE_S
  • Portal SID           - <Portal_SID>

 

Completing a New Configuration

 

     Step 1 - Create RFC Destination in J2EE Engine

 

               Program ID                       <J2EE_HOSTNAME>_PORTAL_<J2EE_SID>

               Portal Directory (optional)   C:\usr\sap\<PORTAL_SID>\JC00\j2ee

               BI User                             *********

               BI Password (optional)       *********

 

     Step 2 - Create RTC Destination for Portal

               User-Defined RFC connection option is selected by default.

               RFC Destination                 <BI_SID>_<J2EE_HOSTNAME>_<J2EE_S

 

               Program ID as RFC Destination

               RFC Destination                 SAP Netweaver Portal on <HOSTNAME>

 

     Step 3 - Maintain Portal Server Settings for Portal

               URL Prefix for Portal                 <PORTAL_URL_PREFIX>

               Prefix of RM for BI Metadata      /bi_metadata

 

     Step 4 - ***Not Found in the System***

 

     Step 5 - Export BI Certificate from BI

               Export Path                        C:\Users\Administrator\Appdata\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\tmp

               Export File Name                EH5_certifcate.crt

 

     Step 6 - ***Not Found in the System***

 

     Step 7 - Create BI System in Portal

               Path in Portal Content           //portal_content/Systems

               Name in Portal Content        T90CLNT090

 

               Template for defining the BI System in Portal

                    System with Application Serv is select by default.

 

               BI Properties

                    BI Directory Provider Checkbox is selected by default.

                    BI Documents for InfoProvider               /bi_documents

                    BI Documents for Master Data              /bi_documents

                    BI Documents for Metadata                  /bi_documents

                    BI Master System Checkbox is selected by default

 

               System Alias

                    System Alias                                  SAP_BW

 

     Step 8 - Configure User Management in Portal

          Logon Ticket Client (Optional)            800

 

     Step 9 - Export Portal Certificate from Portal

          Portal SID                               <PORTAL_SID>

          Import Path                             C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\tmp

          Import File Name                     <PORTAL_SID>_portal_certificate.crt

 

     Step 10 - ***Not Found in the System***

     Step 11 - ***Not Found in the System***

 

     Step 12 - Maintain User Assignment in Portal

          BI User             ******

          BI Password      ******
