How To Delete SPAM/SAINT Queue

Hi

I see many of you are facing problems while applying patches and not able to delete the old queue from SPAM/SAINT.

So putting it together here.

Symptoms:

- Queue not empty

Solution:

There are multiple solutions for this which I have followed and worked for me. Here are the steps.

STEP-1

SPAM Queue table:  PAT01

Select the table PAT01 via se16 and double click on the first entry you want to delete.

Do a /h and hit enter.

Click Continue button

At that point double click on the DELE and click the pencil then F8.

That should get you to the screen to delete table entries.

STEP -2

Use  Function module : OCS_RESET_QUEUE   , run it using SE37

STEP-3

You can delete the queue from STMS - Request - Delete

STEP-4

You can rename the folder in /usr/sap/trans/buffer 

Rename the <SID> name to a new name and restart the import as shown below
