SSO issue between ECC and BI system while calling BI from ECC in internal query

HI All,

We have an issue where users login via WEB UI on ECC system and then they need to call a transaction on ECC system which in turn calls a BI query.

This calling of BI query needs to connect to BI system internally from ECC to fetch the needed report/details into the ECC system .

Now here we have an issue as this results in an error which seems that SSO cannot be established between the two.

Could you advise a possible solution.

I understand that we may need to export "OWN Certificates " from BI and import it in ECC system in STRUST transaction. Please let me know if my understanding is correct and if I can import the BI exported certificate on ECC system (for ECC to be able to connect to BI via SSO ). Will this work?
