Java Uninstall required on Dual stack before upgrade

Hi All,

We have Netweaver 7.0 Dual stack system SP18.

OS - HP UNIX and DB - Oracle 11.2.0.3

We are performing split of this system and after split we will perform upgrade to Netweaver 7.4 latest SP.

Now my question is after export/import of java under split, Do we need to perform uninstall of Java stack also on source system before starting upgrade.

Does SPLIT activity perform any changes on source system also so that if after split and before uninstalling Java on system(after cleaning up SLD and LMDB) if we try to regenerate stack file for source system it will only consider ABAP stack and will generate stack file for ABAP stack only.

Please suggest.
