INDX(//) runtime sort switch for NW 740

Hi All,

I'm working on some performance issues on a NW 740 system which have been traced back to a database import call to the table INDX under the key //. The SAP note 1675233 - "table INDX: Sorting VIEW (structural authorizations)" - seems to describe a viable solution for my problem BUT the VALID FOR annotation doesn't include 740 - it stops at 731.

So my question is - should this / is this valid for 740 and/or is there an alternative approach that should be taken for 740 systems?
