Hello friends.

We face a problem on two SAP-Systems. While doing a Full-Backup with BRBACKUP the SAP-System hangs up and isnt accessible.

After the finish it goes on as if nothing happened. Trying to access a transaction could take a long time or even doesnt work.

Same problem on a ecc6.0 and a NW7.3. Statistics are actual.

Here are some informations:

Solaris 10 with Zones ( Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 s10s_u10wos_17b SPARC )

Zone-Config of one system NW7.3 example:

capped-memory:

        physical: 30G

ulimit -a

core file size          (blocks, -c) unlimited

data seg size           (kbytes, -d) unlimited

file size               (blocks, -f) unlimited

open files                      (-n) 8192

pipe size            (512 bytes, -p) 10

stack size              (kbytes, -s) 8192

cpu time               (seconds, -t) unlimited

max user processes              (-u) 29995

virtual memory          (kbytes, -v) unlimited

swap -s

total: 28656272k bytes allocated + 0k reserved = 28656272k used, 34258288k available

brtools -V

BR0651I BRTOOLS 7.20 (29)

release note               1428529

kernel release             720

patch date                 2012-12-11

patch level                29

make platform              sun_64

make codeline              720_REL

make mode                  OCI_102

make date                  Dec 15 2012

Another thing is that the SSD32 counts up to 100% utilization while doing a backup on this system.

I hope you can help us. Thank you very much in advance.
