Setting up an XMLA-webservice in a dualstack system ( 7.31 )

Hi guys,

I'm setting up a demo environment using netweaver 7.31.

First-off I installed a ABAP instance (BSD) as system 00 and then I added a Java instance (BSJ) as system 04. Both instances are running on the same machine.

I used the following guides:

My BI integration works fine, I can publish to the web and open queries in Java from RSRT.

Now I would like to use SICF to activate the XMLA webservice so I can publish a BEX query as a webservice. Her i get stuck.

When I test my webservice in SICF to generate the WDSL, SAP opens a link to port ; being the ICM of my ABAP system, but that ICM rerurns an error 404 in the SAPMMC.

Changing the HTTP port to 50400 ( my JAVA system ) doesn't help because that doesn't recognize the call.

I think I need to set a parameter to let my ABAP instance know it should use my JAVA instance for publishing webservices, but I can't seem to find any info on that.

I haven't put any effort into fixing the ICM on my ABAP instance because I figured iId use the ICM of the Java system, but if that is not the case please let me know how to properly setup the ICM on my ABAP system.

Just letting you know this has been my first NW installation, so I might have missed the obvious here.

Any help is welcome!
