We have our SAP Java only Portal wtih instance on kernel 7.02 on Linux 64-bit.
When we first tried to launch the Java MC on the IE browser and click on Database subtree, there is no prompt to enter username and password.
We saw a message asking to installed the missing SAPHostAgent.
After downloading lastest saphostagentrpm_155-20005731.rpm and installed it, we started the host agent.
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostexec pf=/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/host_profile
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapstartsrv pf=/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/host_profile -D
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saposcol -l -w60 pf=/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/host_profile
Then we restart the SAP Java MC, and go to the Database subtree, it now prompt us to enter the username and password.
We tried to use the username j2ee_admin and password, but it was not able to access. On a normal, NW prompt, j2ee_admin works fine.
What should be the username and password to used? How to turn off this authentication?
