I've run into an issue. ADS in EP 7.4 is configured and running.The service is being consumed by ECC and CRM, both systems are having two different clients. In ECC the ADS RFC works fine in both the clients and we are able to create Adobe forms,print those.

In CRM what happens is that in one client it works perfectly but in the other client its going into errors as below:

When troubleshooting, follow the steps described in SAP Note 944221.

First check the connection to ADS. You can use the program FP_PDF_TEST_00 to do this. From SAP NetWeaver Release 7.0, the program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE must also run successfully (both with and without the checkbox selected on the selection screen). If this program does not run successfully, there is a error in the configuration.

The same checks work fine in other client of CRM system i.e. FP_TEST_00 , FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE.

Went through many SAP Notes and threads but couldn't get any help.

Please if someone of you have also gone through the same situation and got a solution then help me to sort out this.

Hi guys,

I'm facing a problem, I have a repository already configured to use an external content server via http requests it's called Z_CSR_ED2 and it works wonderfull, every pdf or office document is being stored there.

Now, I've been asked me to create a second repository with the same configuration as the existing Z_CSR_ED2 but this one called CS (it must have only two letters they say).

No problem, I managed to create the repository naming it CS, made all the tests, including the certificate and connection tests, I ran the report rscmst and it all went fine too.

Now, I need your help:

When I went to OACT to connect my new repository to the categories SOFFDB and SOFFHTPP it suddently hit me... my god what now?

If I changed the old one to the new one, all the PDF and Office documents will go to this new repository, I don't want thats

I want to be able to say to wether repository the documents should go.

Is it possible for SOFFDB and SOFFHTPP categories to have more than one repository attached?

Do I have to create another 2 categories based on those two fot my new repository CS?

Again, is it even possible to have the same kind of binary documents to go to either Z_CSR_ED2 or CS repository ?me

Hi Team,

I need to remove SE14 from a particular role in ECC system.

On analysis, I found that the tcode is coming from the object S_TCODE with value = S*.

I tried to split the range as S*-SE13A* , SE15-S_YZ* ( we cross checked the tcode values from table TSTC and inserting this range did not show SE14  )but still the tcode appears in this role via SUIM and testing also.

When I tried to deactivate the range S*-SE13A* from the object S_TCODE , then the SE14 is removed. This confirms that SE14 is coming from the range S*-SE13A*.

Please suggest if there is an alternate way to split the range.

Hi all

I have installing IDES SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 and in Impoer ABAP step I have receive such an error

The log files are attached. The extention is changed from log to txt.

Friends:

In CMC->servers, we see some servers with a state "running" but not enabled.

We tried very hard to enable them in many ways but failed.

1) we set the -trace at those servers' property but do not see any hint;

2) we see the same problem for BOBJ4 with different patch level.

Now the only way we can do is: re-create (not clone) those servers.

Would you please share your experience how to fix it without re-creating ?

Installation stopped on “Deploy Java Components” phase every time and we have stopped all SAP related services and Started again.

At the time of starting we are facing memory related issue and Installation struck in Deploy Java Component phase itself.

Hi all,

I want to check the terminal used by a particular SAP USER ID on a particular date. For that i went to SM21 and when i executed the particular date no data is showing. But we have proof that by using some particular ID some other user(different from SAP ID Owner) has done something wrong and it affeted slighly. For that we have to find on that particular date who has accessed that SAP Id or from which terminal?

Please note that ST03n data in our system will show only 3 months. The issue happened here before 4 months.....

I just noticed the following on transaction SM66:

The system is running fine. Looking in SM21 nothing seems to appear for the

same Process ID.

Is this something to worry about? How can I clear them down?

I went into SM50 and then restart process after error but it still stays highlighted in red.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi All,

ABAP Dumps ZDATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME are occurring in PI system in specific time regularly.

I have went for OS reboot for both Application and DB Server and then make sure that DB and Application servers has same time stamp and then started SAP and DB services. But still we are facing these dumps regularly in particular time and later these dumps are not repeating in the day.

We had same issues earlier to other Systems. Reboot of the servers has fixed but now it doesn't fixed the issue.

From the dump analysis, I could see the Source is trex system and Patrol is the user responsible for all the dumps. But I am not understanding what actually being carried with user Patrol from trex system. Please see the below details from dump.

We have implemented SAP GUI for HTML [WEBGUI] in ECC 6.0 System its working fine.

However After entering user id password i am able to execute any SAP transactions but when i am logging off from system i am getting message like below "Logged Off Successfully"

You have been logged off from SAP Web Application Server.

But if i am pressing refresh button or just select Web Application server address again it is entering without asking username and password

Customer needs to enter their login credentials in WEBGUI each time like SAP GUI login.

Please let us know  how can we resolve this issue.

I am facing issue in Verification checks of JAVA stack. We are planning for EP upgrade.

My SOLMAN is on latest patch i.e. Solman 7.1 SP14 patch.

Current java stack is on NW 7.02.

Currently facing below issue:

1. (RED error)Software component version "SAP PCUI_GP 600" is missing on system "MPD" for product instance "SAP ECC 6.0-SAP XSS (Self Services)".

2. (RED error)Software component version "SAP ESS 600" is missing on system "MPD" for product instance "SAP ECC 6.0-SAP XSS (Self Services)".

3. (Yellow error)Some software component versions are not covered by product instances

The following installed software components are currently not covered by product instances:

SAP MSS 600

SAP ESS 603

SAP PCUI_GP 603

IS-HER-CSS 600

I have manually added SAP PCUI_GP 600 & SAP ESS 600 component on product instance SAP ECC 6.0-SAP XSS. But still getting above error.

Also after added component IS-HER-CSS 600 & SAPPSS 600 into same SAP ECC 6.0-SAP XSS the error gone from "RED error" but component IS-HER-CSS 600 showing in "Yellow Error" i.e. not covered by product instance.

1st I have tried by default selection but giving error hence i have to added missing component manually, but getting error for few components.

We have done the Unicode Migration of our Production system.

After the Unicode Migration we found that while printing the cheque via printer few of the cheque gets printed and later the the cheque print get stuck & stops. Due to the cheque get wasted.

The Host Spool Access Method – E: External output management system is used in SPAD configuration.

Can anyone tell me if they have been able to create an iView for GB based P60's so staff can view these in their Portals under ESS.

The Program we use to call up the P60 is RPCP60G0. Is there a relevant service in SICF for this.

From what we have been able to find this does not appear to be available in GB and is only in Ireland at present. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated?

We are at EhP6 currently patching to support pack 82.
