We  have an issue  which is being shown as Red in Weekly ECC system EWA Report. we have upgraded our ECC to EHP6  few months back.

Even  after regular update of ST PI and ST/API plugins , EWA Report is showing message as

Planning table TCOLL for SAP workload collectors for 710 (note 966631)

Press the lights icon to get the detailed check log. Add missing entries to table TCOLL using ST03N > Expert Mode > Collector and Performance DB > Performance Monitor Collector > Execution Times. Schedule RSCOLL00 as an hourly batch job if not scheduled.

Please any one  suggest   on how to proceed further.

I configured the ADS.

I have two systems on the same physical server(OS - RHEL x64 / RDBMS - MaxDB 7.9):

ABAP - NW731 SPS8

JAVA - NW731 SPS8

According to the ADS configuration guide, I did all the settings.

But when I checked program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE I give error:

SYSTEM ERROR: ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: XMLFM Exception during render: com.adobe.ProcessingException(200.101).

I read a lot of posts, but I have not found solution for my problem.

I checked it again - all services, service users, etc.

I checked PAM. My system is supported.

I activate trace for ADS.

Help me understand what is the problem?

Dear Basis Gurus,

i am planning a client copy from our production system to our quality assurance system to refresh a old existing client.

In past i have done some similar copies. After the copies i am always facing the problem with the number ranges (short dump SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC). Then I need to adjust the number ranges I need manually. This is a lot of work.

How is the standard procedure in this case? Is there any option to do this in a more efficient way?

However, after the application restart (multiple times), I'm still able to logon to the system with user sap*

I double-checked in RZ11.

Hi all,

Im trying to access our SAP ABAP system via our webdispatcher.

The redirect works, as Im getting the logon screen from our SAP abap system that I want to login to.

However, when I fill in my userID and password, nothing happens. The login screen appears again.

Our Webdispatcher doesnt have a DNS name(yet) so I am accessing it via IP :

http://<ip webdispather>:8101

As Im getting the logon screen of our ABAP system, I can assume that the redirect is working fine, and all profile parameters are correct in the webdispatcher.

The only thing I can think of, but cannot test yet, is that the webdispatcher needs to have a DNS name to able to get this working ?
Does anyone have any suggestions ?

These users are finance vendors.

Dear Experts,

Java instance not starting after SP09 update on fresh installation of PI 7.31 dual stack.

Support pack SP09 was applied using SUM10 and it was successfully finished.

Post update, ABAP works fine and able to see all the updated SP levels.

Tried below options for fixing this issue:

Increasing/decreasing heap memory and server nodes in config tool and restarted Java server.

Updated Kernel to 721_EXT_REL

Referred below SAP Notes:

1836705 - JNI adoption because of security changes in JVM

1316652 - Analysis of startup errors for the AS Java 7.10

ABAP starts and works fine with updated kernel, but still Java server nodes doesn't start up.

Please Help.

In R3 systems, the maintenance certificate is getting expire every three months. I want to install maintenance certificate automatically using solman.

In solman using this job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT, I can pull the license from SMP to solman.

After that scheduling the task GET LICENSE DATA in /nsdccn, it will pull license from solman to system and also will be installed.

Now my query is renew the maintenance certificate automatically in SMP whenever the certificate is getting expired.

We are planning on introducing PO to our landscape and before we implement it, I want to make sure I have a solid SLD configuration.

I will post a drawing but I will add context to it here.

PO is NW 7.4

NWDI is NW 7.31

SOLMAN is NW 7.1 SP10

ERP is ECC 6 EHP 5

The SLD will be hosted on a dedicated AS Java instance. Same NW version as PO, 7.4

We also have Charm in the Landscape.

My goal is have a design time and runtime SLD. I do not want to sync the 2 SLD's. Charm requires the LMDB to sync to both SLD's.

This figure only shows 1 SOLMAN LMDB, not 2. I wonder if it makes a difference. My drawing has 2 SOLMANS.

I'm using the latest NW 7.4 tools to copy a CRM 7 EHP 3 Java system from QA to Pre-Prod.  The QA system was installed at CRM 7 EHP 1 and subsequently had EHP 2 then 3 applied, which brings it up to NW 7.4.  We have already used the latest 7.4 tools to do a Java system copy on a 7.4 Portal with the Backup /Restore method, and that started without issues.  However the CRM system refuses to start when using the new tool.  The DB has been copied and renamed first and then the three stages of copying a distributed system completed (see image).

I tried copying the kernel over from the QA system too, but that does not help.

Error code is:: Java node 'server0' terminated with exit code 2150

SAP Notes 1945047 and 1794179 advise us to patch SERVERCORE, J2EEFRMW, ENGINEAPI, BASETABLES, CORETOOLS, J2EE-APPS  but we can't do that with SUM as the Java isn't running!!

Any ideas?

I have configured outgoing mail configuration using SCOT tcode and maintained port num 25 for this. Now for Inbound email configuration for SAP EHS offline form processing ,for this we have maintained email in SCOT->Settings->Inbound processing. Do we need to open a different port for the same.

Please throw some light on the way to achieve SSO to ABAP ERP system from the user desktops. No EP will be used as interface

Users would directly call the ABAP webdynpro/Service over http and it must not prompt for credentials.

The Login ID to Windows domain(NT ID) is same as the ID of user master record in ERP system and hence no additional mapping would be required.

Coudn't find any concepts or doc for the same.

After running the BI initial setup for ABAP on java portal 7.30 . I have checked the configuration by BI Diagnostics & Support Desk Tool .

It shows only one error in RED "Export check (PDF lib, ADS, ...)".

Below is the status  and solution on BI Diagnostics & Support Desk Tool result :-

Check Message :- ADS does not work.(PDFDocument Processor failed to process RenderRequest Due to the following Reason can't parse argument number urn:AdobeDocumentServicesWsd/AdobeDocumentServicesVi/document)

solution : Follow the instructions in note 1052659.

Please suggest how to resolve this error.

After changing the parameter auth/rfc_authority_check to 9, I am getting the following dumps:

Value "9" -> Technical RFC check active, also in case of single sign-on procedure and for function group SRFC. Since the authority check is then also performed for function modules RFC_PING, RFC_SYSTEM_INFO and all other function modules contained in function group SRFC, the user profiles of all involved users must be checked/updated before using this option.

I have created a RFC related role for all users that start an RFC, assigned this to TMSADM for example,

There has been added SRFC function group in the S_RFC function object, but I am still getting this dump on daily basis.

Any advice from your side ?

How can I permanently get rid of this dump ?

   We are involving in upgradation process from solution manager 7.01 to solution manager 7.1 sp10. Now we are in kernel 7.20 UC, During Mopz it is giving us option to select the kernel 7.21 only but Sap hostagent and Igsexe files are in 7.20 like below.

Weather we have to upgrade the kernel to 7.21 or not required?  What about the Hostagent and IGS files version difference?

Our other environment systems all are in 7.20 kernel, If the solman system kernel gets upgraded to 7.21 means will it support others?

And also during the stack-Dependent files selection phase in MOPZ - under the NON-ABAP section, there we can find the two files for SAP CPS FOR NETWEAVER 1. SAP CPS FOR NW 7.02 and 2. SAP CPS BY REDWOOD 8.0 like below image, which one will be suitable.

I have created the service interface with the IDOC name and also my user id has the authentications to send the IDOC message from the sap system even then it is not able to identify the IDOC adapter in IB please suggest me a solution to solve the problem.

During NW 741 installation, the starting step of the instance failed (The wizard gave up after 10mins waiting). So I tried to start the instance using SAPMMC, here is that I saw:

1- Initial state: See the Sc1

2- During the starting process: See the Sc2

3- End state: See the Sc3

Any idea what may cause this issue or how to trace the issue?
