Hi dears SAP Basis Gurus !!!! 
Recently I`ve received the following note from the monitoring storage team:
" Guys,
I noticed the hostctrl volume is the highest operational volume on your prod sap system. Is this supposed to be working this way?"
Since I am really new in SAP Basis, I want to ask for your precious help to figure out it as below:
- From where can I investigate it and exactly what?
- Can you guys point me a SAP note that can guide me through it?
Any help will be much appreciated.
