Reminder for dates?

Hi all,

Is it possible, to upload a document (i.e. DOC or PDF) somewhere in a SAP system,

and to set an expiry date for it? The main idea is the SAP system to send e-mail

when the document expiry date is about to come.

We have ECC6.0, ABAP stack only,

Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1.
