Error during installation of SSL certificate

Hi ,

 

I am trying to Install SSL and intermediate certificates through STRUST in R/3 production system, when trying to import certificates from this transaction we are getting work process -restarted session terminated error message.


Please guide me.

I am getting the message "length of high priority queue exceeds limit " and also some of the work processes are killed in the SAP Management Console. as in the attached image.

We would like to clone it at level of OS ( clone of the server ) .

After we would like to rename the instance on the clone server.

Hi

 

Is there anywhere in the documentation a complete list of all the authorizations needed by the source system RFC user in order to complete a remote client copy ?

 

I need to copy the PRD client into QAS , and for that I need to create an RFC connection from QAS to PRD.

What are the authorization needed by the PRD remote user I am connecting to? ( assuming the SAP_ALL is not an option for me )

SAP Financial Supply Chain Mngmnt (FSCM) - Add on/Usage Type for 7.40?

I notice that the last version in the PAM for FSCM is on NetWeaver 7.03.

 

I believe it's probably now an optional component/usage-type for ERP 6 on NetWeaver 7.40 (EHP7) but does anyone know technically, as a Basis guy, how this is installed?

 

Is it an add-on to download for ERP6 post-installation? Is it a usage type selected when installing?

 

If anyone knows the process for installing this type of ERP 6 setup for Financial Supply Chain Management systems that would be very handy - I'm not clear on if the terminology may even have changed at all... my understanding is the component is FIN-FSCM

SPAU - note is obsolete and not released, what to do?

We've just upgraded our DEV system (SAPKB73112) and in SPAU there are over 30 obsolete notes that we just can't seem to be able to get rid of.

 

One example is the note 1066494. SAP portal says "Document not released", so there is no way to see what even was in that note. 'Reset Obsolete Notes' button in SPAU does not help because the note was "modified". "Reset to original" is asking to load the note again and, after clicking through the green checkmarks, happily reports "Note downloaded and adjustment status recalculated" but this changes absolutely nothing - the note still has that gray signal.

 

In SNOTE the note had "could not be implemented" and "in progress" status when I got there. If I try to reset it, I get a message SCWN047 'No correction instructions implemented'. The only thing I could do was to change the status to "not relevant", but this had no influence on SPAU.

 

I've searched SCN posts (e.g. in this case looks like OP was able to use SNOTE to de-implement the note), but couldn't find anything on how to remove the note that doesn't even exist.

 

I'm fairly certain whatever changes were in the note are not actually needed at this point. Is there some trick that we could use to get such items off the SPAU list (I was hoping to leave it clean for future generations) or are we stuck with it?

I am having this error pop up very frequently on some new SAP systems.  This will randomly happen and keep us from being able to release transports and import them in STMS.  I receive the following error:

 

 

There was an attempt to start the transport control program tp using the local RFC interface.

An error occurred here.

 

Error code: 4

RFC error text: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'

 

 

- When I check the Transport Tool (STMS: import queue> check> transport tool) I get the following information:

out during connection setup (check that partner exists

 

 

- When checking the TP System Log I receive the same error.  The RSTPTEST report does not give any additional information.  SM21 shows a warning and an error:

All of these errors are only pointing to a time out.  I cannot figure out why this is happening.  I checked the TMS RFC connection in SM59 and they are fine.  I have been able to work around this issue in 2 different ways.  First, I can delete the files in the "\trans\tmp" directory on the server.  Sometimes this resolves the error.  Else I have to restart the system.

 

I need to understand where this issue is coming from and how to resolve it.  It is becoming more and more frequent.  Thank you for your help!

SSL cert renewal in Portal

Hi,

 

We have renew the SSL certificate in the Portal.

 

After logging onto the Visual admin with administrator, when I open the views from key storage.

 

I have create the SSL key  using the TrustedCAs and generate the CSR and send it to CA to sign.

 

Now my question is, is there any difference in which view I use to generate the key.

 

Should i have to use service_ssl in key storage?

 

Will that make the difference?

 

And store certificate is mandatory check box?

SAP Router - certificate expiration date (problem)

Hello,

 

I need to understand something regarding the SAP Router certificate...

 

Today I did a renew of SAP Router certificate, but I don´t understand why this new certificate has only 6 months of validity and not 1 year as the normal, as expected!

 

As you see in the following image the validity of the new certificate is to Web Jul 08 11:00:00 2015 and I renewed this certificate today! Very weird!

 

The following information is the output of the command: sapgenpse get_my_name -v

This is more weird when I go to SAP Marketplace and I check the list of all SAProuter certificates that have been ordered by my company and I see the information that this specific certificate has the expiration date of one year of validity (30.01.2016), which is, I think, the correct date.

Can you help me please to understand what´s the reason it doesn´t have 1 year of validity?

SPDD: Proposal corresponds to current version

Hi ,

 

In SPDD, without modifications and enhancements section, we have a table field in Yellow. On clicking the yellow button, it says

 

Proposal corresponds to current version

 

There is option for accept proposal or just go back. In either case, I get the pop up saying

 

The adjustment proposal matches the current version of the table.Do you want to reset the table to its original version?

 

Can you please guide me if I should click YES and reset the table to original. Or it should be a No since proposal and current version matches,. on clicking no however keeps the line in yellow only.

WEB Dispatcher in different netowrk

When we connect intranet systems to Webdispatcher, it's not working. please let me know the ECC or Portal or Solman need public internet to communicate Webdispatcher. If not where the configuration should be done. if required public internet which system need for public.

SCOT Configuration for Gmail Relay system

Dear All,

 

We have currently opted to have gmail as our Email provider , for example we have our employees email as XYZ@company.com, But we have the email server maintained by google. We would like to send the mails from SAP system to to any address as of now. Could you please tell me if it is possible.

If so please help me do the configuration with the details that i have with me .

 

I have the SMTP domain of our google server and the port in which the mails are being sent

 

Domain : smtp.gmail.com

Port      : 465

 

I have also maintained the Parameter "icm/server_port_2" with "PROT=SMTP,PORT=465,PROCTIMEOUT=600,TIMEOUT=600"

 

Should I be doing anything else , if so kindly share your thoughts.

BF Transport Request

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a question on Business function transportation, i understand that the recommended way to activate the business functions in QTY /PRD is capturing the active BF in TR and moving it to the relevent systems. but before activating business functions ins a Development system, we follow certain rules such as stoppiing all jobs , locking out all the users from the ssytem. do we have to follow the same thing even when we move the BF transport in to QTY / PROD? also, the TR containes only an entry called 'A'. is there anything else we should do while moving this Transport to QTY / PROD systems other than Importing from STMS?

 

i could not find answers for these qustions in the attached notes. it just talks about the special features of the SFW5. can somebody help me understand this?

Error SAP auto-update to windows 7 64bits

Hi

 

I try install SAP 7,30 patch 11 in 64bits environment and I received this error in log file below. When I try install SAp without SAP auto-update it works well.

 

So How I can solve it?
