i have received an alert form Unix about high load on server, but when I checked incidentally after 15 minutes the load was quite normal and effective CPU utilization was around 15% only.
I have to identify the jobs which caused high CPU utilization.
a) Most of the job causing high utilization would have been finished by the time I checked.
Could you guys please help me in that.
How can I identify the guilty jobs?

Hello All,
In one of our production system, Paging usage is high eventhough physical free ram is available.
We have checked and found that we are not getting any memory dump (like PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE) in the
system.
But we found paging usage is more eventhough there is no activity happened in the system and more physical RAM is avaliable
AIX team confirmed that everything is fine from their end.
Could you please let us know whether we can set rdisp/wp_auto_restart to 86400 S. Also let us know if there is any drawback / dependency need to be checked by setting this parameter.
Also please confirm if there is any paging parameter need to be reduced to resolve this issue

Dear experts,
I am opening this thread regarding a problem in SAP landscape.
System:
SAP ERP 6 EHP 7
MS SQL SERVER 2012
Normally Landscape is like this:
DEV>>QAS>>PRD
All the systems are distributed; the DB is in different Machine.
Due to some serious problems in HW, the Databases of the QAS and PRD systems are severely corrupted and the restore seems to be impossible due to backup problems.
There is work being done to bring the systems (DB) to their stable (at least acceptable) situation but it seems to be a very low probability for that to happen.
The only system which is healthy is the Development system.
Now, what we are analyzing is the possibility to rebuild the landscape so that we can make use of the Developments done in DEV as everything is still available.
The business data in that case would of course be gone, we have to live with that (recent go-live in this case).
I would really appreciate your opinions on this situation.
We've been analyzing a couple of possible plans but we do not know if any of them would be successful and need to know the possible problems.
1) A fresh install of QAS and PRD, reset the STMS and re-import the Change requests from the Development Systems.
2) Using a system copy and creating the new systems by rename. We would have the systems the same as DEV. Do you think this case would work? What extra action would need to be taken in this case?
I would really be grateful if you could share your thoughts and possible experience for such a case.

I administer an ECC system running on ERP 6.0 EHP6, with separate instances for database, central instance and 1 dialog instance. Today all the 3 instances got 'hanged' such that users were not able to log into the gui. I tried killing PIDs from OS but still was not able to access the systems. I had to stop all instances, reboot the servers and start again. Now I want to determine the cause of the issue. Please tell me where to start looking at - the work directory? I am suspecting some user activity to have caused this....

I got a problem, we need enable the button "change task list" in scma transaction but a we can't because show us "client 113 has status 'no modificable' ", this happen because the client is setting "no changes allowed" so I tray to apply sap note "356483 Customizing: Current settings in the test system", but the scma transaction has not table or view and I can't see which is a cluster. Please help us, because we need in quick time.

We are performing EHP upgrade from SAP ERP6.0(ECC6 EHP6) to EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 in the system .
While we move forward for generating the xml file in MOPZ screens , we are facing the issues where we are unable to continue further as per the attached
screenshots.
Further SLD and LMDB are synchronized properly too
We are facing errors for many add-ons and NAKISA 303_702 component too.
Below are the errors :
"No upgrade path defined for add-on "XXX " in PPMS
"Mark relevant instance to include software component NAKISA 303_702 in
SMSY and LMDB .
This is becoming a showstopper for the EHP upgrade .Please provide us any solution to our issue at the earliest

The Message_Type_X dump has occurred in the system in which from ST22 dumps short text I found.
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
The error occurred in the program "SAPLPT_ARQ_REQUEST_UIA" in the screen "SAPMHTTP 0010". I have checked SWU3 Tcode whether RFC related configurations are green or not.
But in SWU3 , I found
Maintain Runtime Environment - Green
Maintain Definition Environment -Red
Maintain Additional settings and services - Red
classify tasks as terminal - Green
Guided procedures.- Red
From the above tcode how could I say which one is responsible for RFC related configuration? Please let me know.
In this type of case for Message_Type_X, what action is necessary to be taken.

In a Personal Computer, When I am trying to execute a query in Bex Query Designer, the query is not getting executed in a browser. Also I check my query in RSRT, in this the query is executing, But it is not executing in ABAP Web, Java Web or in any browser.

Hi, everyone. I have encounter an issue when installing ERP6.0 EHP7 on HANA. An error occurs during Import ABAP phase which says Program “Migration Monitor” exits with error code 103. I have check import_monitor.log, where there is a package import fail. The failed package is SAPSSEXC. I have check the HANA DB, a DB dump had been observed during import phase. And in the SAPSSEXC.log, there is an error says "

This is in Windows Server 2008 (R2) X64 with SQL Server 2008. The SAP version is NW 7.0 (ECC 6.0).
I´m facing with an error during the sapinst by performing a sap system copy. I attached the datafiles in the target system and now I´m performing the sap system copy using the detach/attach method. So, the error is during the sapinst and it show me the following error:
"User tables belonging to the dbo schema were found in the database T01. SOLUTION: You can only install an SAP system in a database with no user objects belonging to the system schema dbo. If there already is an SAP system in the database (MCOD), or you install a Java Add-In, you might have to convert the existing system to its own schema, or contact your SAP support."
So, I did some checks... I know the owner of this system is the our own SID (when I check the option system --> status I see that in owner field (so I concluded this is a schema system (MCOD) - sapnote 151603 - Copying an SQL Server database)
I did other thing, I opened the SQL Management Studio and I checked the tables and there I see all tables have this name dbo.<table_name>... so I thing this is the main problem!
I searched for a solution and I read the sap note 151603 (the step 8), and I thought maybe the solution for this was running the SAP Tools for MS SQL Server... but I believe this tool isn´t for my case, because it said in this sap note 151603 the following:
"For Java or ABAP+Java systems that are based on a NetWeaver technology lower than Release 7.00, follow the instructions from Note 683447 (SAP Tools for MS SQL Server). If you cannot use the SAP tools for the SQL Server for whatever reason, you can also perform the following steps manually."
...and also the same statement in the sap note 683447 (SAP Tools for MS SQL Server) it said the following text:
"This only applies to SAP systems based on kernel 6.40 or lower. If you have an SAP system based on kernel 7.0 or higher, you must perform the system copy with SAPinst."
So... what actually I have to do for to correct this issue?! Can you help me please?! It is urgent :-(

We have an ECC EHP7 system- XYZ with HR components on 600.
While patching the system, we selected EA-HR & SAP-HR patches 96 to 105 as part of SPS5 stack in MOPZ.
Once SUM finished, EA-HR & SAP-HR were on 105...but along with these, EA-HR* & SAP-HR* also moved from 0 to 97.
The issue is, we need this system to be in sync with another system- ABC (where EA-HR & SAP-HR are on 105, but the EA-HR* & SAP-HR* components are on patch 0).
Do these sub-components get patched automatically or something & how do we now go about bringing the sub patches for these 2 from 0 to 97 for system ABC.
MOPZ does not allow for this selection.
